Out of Memory Message

Hello,

I have been running SLAMM with the same extent and using different rise by 2100 calculations. For some reason, I keep getting out of memory errors when trying to load a the maps with higher rise values but I haven't changed anything else in the process. Is there anyway to resolve this issue?

Thank you,
Olivia

I recommend

  • Running with higher optimization selected if available (File Setup window, select "do not track High Elevations and Open Water")
  • Running on a 64-bit operating system with >4GB of memory.  This gives 4GB to SLAMM itself, even if you're using the 32-bit version.
  • Running the 64-bit version of the model (email me directly to request a copy) on a 64-bit version of Windows

I don't have any insight as to why higher SLR scenarios selected would result in more out-of-memory messages.  That's a pattern we have not witnessed in the past.

Good luck!
