Hi!
Some of our GIS outputs contain linear relics/inconsistencies. Has anyone experienced a similar issue?
Thanks!

Jonathan S. Clough

magdeline

thanks Jonathan!
It seems like the same thing except the use soil saturation box is unchecked on all my runs. could it be due to something else?

Jonathan S. Clough

"overwash" is also turned off?   (freq. of overwash to zero in the site record?)

magdeline

yup, all overwash parameters are set to 0. i tried running with accr. values and all accr. values set to 0. same results
protection scenario is set to don't protect.

Feel free to email me screen captures or zipped up ASCII rasters and I'll be happy to offer advice as to what may be happening.  -- J

I am having this problem too - turning off soil saturation removes some of the linear features, but many remain (mainly the sandy beach category). Was this question resolved?

Jonathan S. Clough

The problems in this case were functions of the elevation data.
