Dear everyone.
In sea-level rise predictions (e.g. following the IPCC curve), SLAMM produces more ``striped maps'' more and more when reaching the end of the sea-level rise curve.
For example modeling to 2100 the maps of the coastline are like composed by many parallel stripes... that is very unrealistic (stripes separated by empty spaces)
Is this because SLAMM does not consider the parallel interaction between neighbors ?

...
thanks for any answer

Model Formulation & Parameters / fractal dimension

Dear everyone.
In sea-level rise predictions SLAMM gives as output also the fractal dimension. (actually two fractal dimensions)
Is that the fractal dimension of the coastline ? or something else?
How is that determined?
