In a scenario: I have a vegetation grid cell coded as a water value: 15, 16, 17, 18, or 19 and the corresponding cells in the DEM and slope rasters are NoData.
Is that cell used to calculate fetch? Is that cell used in determining adjacency to water? Or is that cell in the Blank total?
The answers to your question depend on whether you have "loaded no-data elevations as blank." If this is set to true then the water will be considered a blank and will not be as useful for calculating fetch or adjacency to water but will be in the blank total. It will also show up on the maps as a blank cell.
Is that cell used to calculate fetch?
-- Yes, so long as it's showing up on the maps.
Is that cell used in determining adjacency to water?
-- Yes, so long as it's showing up on the maps.
Is that cell in the Blank total?
-- Only if it's showing up as "blank" on the maps because "load no-data elevations as blank" is selected in the "Execute" options.
