Joined WPC as a research associate in October 2010. Ms. Polaczyk's work focuses on applying and refining the SLAMM model as well as supporting bioaccumulation modeling projects. She recently completed her PhD in Infrastructure and Environmental Systems at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. Her dissertation focused on model development and application to drinking water treatment and delivery. Ms. Polaczyk has worked as an Environmental Scientist at both the U.S. EPA in Cincinnati, Ohio and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, GA.
