About the company

Incorporated June 2001 in Warren, Vermont, WPC Inc. has been focused primarily with improving and implementing both the SLAMM (Sea Level Affecting Marshes Model) and AQUATOX models for various applications. Clients have included U.S. EPA, The Nature Conservancy, National Wildlife Federation, Eco Modeling, Weston Solutions Inc., Ducks Unlimited, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service among others.

Founder and manager of Warren Pinnacle Consulting, Inc. Mr. Clough has been an environmental consultant since 1994 with special emphasis on developing environmental computer models. He has been the primary programmer for the EPA AQUATOX water ecology and toxicant fate model since 1995 and the SLAMM model since 1998. His resume is available here.

Joined WPC as a research associate in October 2010. Ms. Polaczyk's work focuses on applying and refining the SLAMM model as well as supporting bioaccumulation modeling projects. She recently completed her PhD in Infrastructure and Environmental Systems at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.  Her dissertation focused on model development and application to drinking water treatment and delivery. Ms. Polaczyk has worked as an Environmental Scientist at both the U.S. EPA in Cincinnati, Ohio and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, GA. Joined WPC as a research associate in June 2011. Mr. Propato works on SLAMM applications and development and is also involved in AQUATOX modeling projects. He holds a PhD in Environmental Science from the University of Cincinnati. From 2004 to 2010 Mr. Propato was a research engineer at Cemagref (France) with a focus on drinking water distribution modeling and design.
